Rapper Lil Webbie Arrested

The rapper Lil Webbie was arrested on Monday mourning after a routine traffic stop. Officers found two ounces of marijuana in his possession. Also, officers found more than $13,000 in cash on Lil Webbie and found a loaded revolver on another passenger. All four passengers in the car were arrested and the rapper was held on $21,000 bond.

Rapper Waka Flocka Arrested

Yesterday, the rapper Waka Flocka turned himself in to authorities on gun, drug, and gang related charges. On December 16th, the rapper’s home was raided by police who confiscated many different illegal items and issued him an arrest warrant. He was booked for many charges, which include possession of marijuana less than 1 ounce, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of hydrocodone, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, violation of probation for driving on a suspended license, and violating Georgia’s “Criminal Street Gang and Terror Prevention Act.” The rapper surrendered himself to police and is being held on $31,950 bond. A hearing is set for today.

Rapper T.I. Not to Be Charged in Recent Arrest

It has been reported that the L.A. County District Attorney has the rejected the drug case from rapper T.I.’s arrest last month. There supposedly has been legal problems with the case, including the facts that police say they smelled marijuana but there was no pot booked into evidence and the rapper was pulled out of his vehicle immediately after he made the illegal U-turn and prior to any registration check. Last month, T.I. and his wife were for possession of a controlled substance after being pulled over by police.

Rapper T.I. and Wife Arrested

The rapper T.I. and his wife, Tameka, Cottle, were arrested in Los Angeles yesterday after police found drugs in their possession. The incident happened during a traffic stop where police found marijuana. The couple were released from jail this morning on $10,000 bail. T.I. will have an initial hearing in November since he already posted bond.

Rapper Juvenile Arrested

On Thursday, the rapper Juvenile, whose real name is Terius Gray, and his music producer, named Leroy Edwards, were arrested for misdemeanor possession of marijuana after neighbors told the police that they smelled pot coming from a house being used as a recording studio in Louisiana. Gray was booked at a jail in St. Bernard Parish southeast of New Orleans. He and his music producer were released later that night on bond.

Rapper Rev Run's Son Arrested

On Friday night, Jo Jo, who is is the oldest son of the rapper Rev Run from the rap group Run DMC, was arrested after police caught him rolling a marijuana joint in a car in Manhattan's Upper West Side. He tried to get away from the scene by putting his car into reverse but he almost backed into the police vehicle. While getting arrested, he started acting up and had to get subdued by the police. He was arrested for resisting arrest, attempted reckless endangerment, and criminal use of drug paraphernalia.

Rapper DMX Sentenced to Jail Time

On Friday, the rapper DMX, whose real name is Earl Simmons, was sentenced to serve 90 days in jail for his convictions on theft, drug-possession, and animal-cruelty charges. He was also placed on at least 18 months supervised probation by the Maricopa County Superior Court Commissioner Phemonia Miller.

On December 30th, Simmons pleaded guilty to three felony counts, which were theft, possession or use of marijuana, and the possession or use of narcotic drugs. He also had a misdemeanor count of animal cruelty. He is not being given credit for time served and is not expected to get out of jail until the end of April.

Rapper Webbie Involved in High Speed Police Chase

The rapper Webbie was arrested and charged with felony eluding, driving under the influence, and misdemeanor possession of marijuana after being involved in a high-speed police chase in Hattiesburg. He tried to elude police on Sunday after a police officer tried to pull over his 2009 Dodge Challenger for a traffic violation on Interstate 59. He ignored the police signal for him to pull over and continued on the Interstate. He also hit another vehicle while on the road. Police later found his damaged vehicle in a parking lot on U.S. Highway 49. He was arrested after police later stopped a gray sedan.

Webbie is being held at the Forrest County Jail until his court appearance. He was charged with one count of felony eluding, one count of DUI, and one misdemeanor count of possession of marijuana that was found in the Dodge Challenger.

Rapper DMX Pleads Guilty

On Wednesday, the rapper DMX has pleaded guilty to attempted marijuana and cocaine possession and was sentenced to time served. He is now awaiting extradition to face more charges in Arizona. He is still in custody while waiting for Arizona authorities to pick him up on drug and animal cruelty charges there.

DMX decided to plead guilty after he was denied bail earlier this week due to an outstanding Arizona warrant. If he hadn’t pleaded guilty, then he would have had to stay in jail in Miami until an October trial date.

Rapper DMX Arrested After Not Showing Up in Court

The rapper DMX has been arrested in Miami on a warrant for not attending a Phoenix, Arizona court hearing. His lawyer says that he checked into a Miami hospital on the day that he was suppose to go court in Phoenix and was planning on entering a rehab facility afterwards. A judge in Phoenix issued the warrant on Tuesday after he didn’t appear for a pretrial conference on his four counts on possessing drug paraphernalia and one count of possession of marijuana.

Rapper Yung Berg Arrested for Weapons and Drugs

The rapper Yung Berg was arrested on Saturday morning in New York City after police went to investigate a complaint that was made by a limo driver about a dispute with five passengers. After police investigated the complaint, they busted Yung Berg and some of his friends on many charges. Yung Berg was charged with criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of marijuana, and menacing.

Snoop Dogg Tour Bus Pulled Over and Two People Arrested

On Thursday, a tour bus that the rapper Snoop Dogg was riding in was pulled over and two people were arrested on marijuana possession charges. Members of a commercial vehicle inspection team pulled the bus over because it had an expired registration sticker. Troopers searched the bus for drugs after they smelled marijuana and they found two ounces of the drug.

Two men, named Ethan Calhoun and Kevin Barkey, were arrested on drug charges and were taken to Navarro County Jail. They could face fines of up to $2,000 and six months in jail if they are convicted. The bond was set at $1,500 for each of them. Snoop Dogg was not arrested and he was on his way to perform at a concert in Dallas, TX when the bus was pulled over.

No Charges Pressed Against Warren G

Prosecutors have decided not to press charges against the rapper Warren G, who was arrested earlier this week for being in a car that had marijuana in it. There was insufficient evidence to prove that he knew anything about the drugs.

He was riding in a car with another man, which was registered to neither one of them, when they were pulled over by police on Sunday morning in Hollywood after the driver ran a red light. Marijuana was found in the trunk and police wanted to charge them both with felony charges. They were released from jail after each posting $20,000 bail.

The rapper Warren G was arrested on drug charges after police pulled over the car he was riding in for a red light violation on Sunday. Police found marijuana in the car and both he and the driver of the car were booked on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance. They both were released after each posting $20,000 bail.

Next Biggest Diet Craze

The drug Taranabant is known to be apart of the next biggest diet craze. The drug is considered the “anti-marijuana” and works by erasing food cravings by blocking the same receptors in the brain that cannabis stimulates, causing appetite suppression. A 12 week study found that obese patients consumed 27 percent less calories when they were taking the drug. The downside of the drug is that it can possibly make a person feel nauseous, irritable, or anxious.

Lil Wayne Busted With Drugs at Border Checkpoint

The rapper Lil Wayne was arrested on three felony drug charges after federal agents found illegal drugs, including cocaine, on his charter bus at a checkpoint in southwestern Arizona. He was released from jail shortly after paying his $10,185 bail amount. He has not been formally charged with anything yet and his next court date is scheduled for Jan 25th, where he will find out if the Yuma county attorney will file charges.

He faces charges of possession of dangerous drugs, narcotics, and drug paraphernalia. The drugs found with him included 4 ounces of marijuana, 41 grams of Ecstacy, and over an ounce of cocaine and drug paraphernalia. Also, a .40-caliber pistol that is registered to Lil Wayne was found, who has a concealed weapons permit in Florida.

Rapper Birdman Charged With Drug Possession

The Cash Money Records rapper Birdman, whose real name is Bryan Williams, was released on a $1,500 bond yesterday after he was charged with possession of more than a half an ounce of marijuana. Drugs were found after a RV that he and 15 other people that he was riding in was pulled over after an improper lane change.

Rapper Birdman Arrested

The rapper Birdman, whose real name is Bryan Williams, was one of 16 people arrested and charged with possession of marijuana on Tuesday after the RV they were riding in was pulled over by the police after making an improper lane change. The police said they could smell marijuana coming from the inside of the rented TV and they found nearly a pound of marijuana in a trash can in the kitchenette after getting consent to search the vehicle. Birdman, his wife, and his brother were each charged with possession of more than ½ ounce of marijuana along with 13 other passengers, who were affiliated with the rap industry and with Cash Money Records, which was founded by Birdman and his brother. All of the 16 people were jailed until Tuesday night.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms is helping in the investigation because an assault rifle, a handgun, and a magazine for a .45-caliber handgun were found in the RV. There weren’t any weapons charges filed. Birdman and his group said that they were traveling from New Orleans to New York for a BET network shoot.

Drugs Sold Out of Ice Cream Truck

It is reported in New York that an ice cream truck parked in front of a junior high school was selling cocaine and marijuana along with ice cream. When the police search the truck they found a loaded pistol along with the drugs. A 26 year old man was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a weapon near a school and criminal sale of a controlled substance near a school.
