British Couple Pleads Guilty to Selling Amy Winehouse Drugs

A British couple, named Johnny Blagrove and Cara Burton, who sold video footage of the singer Amy Winehouse smoking crack to a newspaper pleaded guilty to drug charges in court on Friday. They admitted to offering to supply drugs, including cocaine and ecstasy, to the singer.


The couple had filmed Winehouse and sold the footage to the Sun newspaper, which published the images of the singer smoking crack in January. Police also found a list of other celebrities they had supplied drugs to when they raided the couple's home. Detectives decided that there was not enough evidence to charge Winehouse with anything but the couple was charged. They have to go back to court on November 28th for sentencing.

Actor Gary Coleman Hits Pedestrian

The actor Gary Coleman hit a pedestrian named Colt Rushton with his truck after arguing with him at a local bowling alley. They had got into an argument on early Saturday morning over pictures that Rushton had taken of Coleman inside of the bowling alley. The argument continued while outside and Coleman hit Rushton and a car as he was backing out of a parking space. Neither of the men were issued a citation and it is not known whether Coleman hit the man on purpose. Neither of the men gave police much information and alcohol may have played a part in the incident. Rushton was taken to the hospital and treated for minor injuries before being released.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt Sell Baby Pictures for $14 Million

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are giving People magazine and a British tabloid joint rights to publish the first pictures of their newborn twins for $14 million. The money will go to a foundation that was created by Jolie and Pitt that focuses on helping children around the world. The issue featuring the twins, named Marcheline and Knox Leon, is set to hit newsstands on Monday.

Baby Born with 2 Faces in India

In northern India, a baby was born with two faces. The baby has a rare condition called craniofacial duplication, where one head has two faces. All of her facial features are duplicated, except for her ears. She has two noses, pairs of lips, and pairs of eyes.

She is doing well and is being worshiped as the reincarnation of a Hindu goddess. Hundreds of pilgrims have traveled to visit her and touch her feet out of respect and to receive blessings.

Lisa Marie Presley Announces Pregnancy

Lisa Marie Presley, the daughter of Elvis Presley, felt she had to speak up when pictures of her looking very heavy were ridiculed in the media and on the internet. She has announced on her Myspace page that she is currently pregnant. She and her husband, Michael Lockwood, are expecting the baby to arrive this next fall. It will be her third child. She has two children from her previous marriage to ex-husband Danny Keough.

NASA Pictures Show Mercury is Shrinking

Pictures from the unseen side of Mercury show wrinkles from the shrinking planet and residue from volcanic eruptions. There is also a large landmark that is shaped like a spider.

NASA’s Messenger probe brought back 1,213 pictures and images that show that there are ancient volcanoes on Mercury and the planet is shrinking as it gets older, causing ridges. It is assumed that as the core of Mercury cools down, it contracts and the entire planet shrinks. As the planet shrinks, crust is pushed over one another and forms ridges. Other images showed a spider like shape on the surface. It is made up of a crater with dozens of ridge lines coming from it.

Mercury is the closest planet to the sun and before it was thought that the planet was dull like our moon but recent photos show that the planet is more colorful and has areas of baby blues and reds. Mercury also has at least one crater that is filled with its own version of lava.
