Police Officers Accused of Stealing Snacks

Pepsi Set to Launch New Drinks
Pepsi is set to launch a couple new drinks. They are going to launch the caffeinated Propel Invigorating Water and a lighter version of Gatorade, called G2. G2 will have fewer calories than the original Gatorade and is aimed for when people are not working out.
The new products will be delivered to convenience stores, independent retailers, and gas stations later this year. Pepsi hopes to boost the sales growth of Gatorade since its sales have been down recently due to cooler weather and an increase in prices. They also feel that the lower calorie G2 will keep customers from moving to other lower-calorie drinks.
They expect the products to boost earnings for the Pepsi company and its shareholders. They expect shares to go up by 2 cents in 2008 and 3 cents in 2009.

Sweet Snacks Help Stress
It is reported that eating sugary foods when you are stressed can help you relax. Glucocorticoid is released during times of physical or mental stress. Too much glucocorticoid production can cause obesity and a decreased immune response. Research has found that when sweet snacks or drinks were consumed, lower levels of glucocorticoid were produced, and stress levels were lowered. When you are feeling stressed or pressure, a snack in moderation could help you relax.
