Tupac's Writings Donated for Research

The mother of late rapper Tupac Shakur donated a collection of his writings to the Robert W. Woodruff Library at the Atlanta University Center. The items donated include rough drafts of lyrics, poems, and a photocopy of his contract with Suge Knight and Death Row Records. The items will be part of the archives at the library on the campus of the Atlanta University Center and will be available for research in the fall of 2010.

Actor Patrick Swayze Dies

On Monday, the actor Pactrick Swayze died at the age of 57 after losing a battle with cancer. He died with his family by his side. In 2008 he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. He starred in the popular movies "Ghost" and "Dirty Dancing." People magazine named him as "Sexiest Man Alive" in 1991.

Reality Show Star Nicole Richie Gives Birth

On Wednesday, Nichole Richie and Joel Madden welcomed a baby boy into the world, named Sparrow James Midnight Madden. The baby was born weighing 7 pounds and 14 ounces. The couple also have a daughter named Harlow who will be 2 years old in January. Richie has starred in the television show "The Simple Life" and is the daughter of singer Lionel Richie. Joel Madden is in the band Good Charlotte.

Singers Christina Milian and The Dream Get Married

It is reported that the singer Christina Milian and the producer and singer The Dream got married last Friday in Las Vegas. Milian rented her wedding dress for $200, which included shoes and a veil. The Dream rented his tux for $100, which included a tie and vest. The Dream was previously married to singer Nivea for two years and they have a daughter together.

Michael Jackson Finally Buried

Ten weeks after his death, the popular entertainer Michael Jackson has finally been buried. His coffin was placed in a mausoleum at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Two hundred of Jackson's family and friends attended the service, which didn't contain any television cameras or paparazzi. Elizabeth Taylor, Macaulay Culkin, and Lisa Marie Presley were a few of the attendees. The pallbearers were his brothers, Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon, and Randy. Jackson's children began the service by laying a crown on the coffin. Jackson's body was placed in the Holly Terrace, which is a large hall at the centre of Forest Lawn's monolithic grounds.

DJ AM's Burial

DJ AM, whose real name is Adam Michael Goldstein, was buried on Wednesday at the Hillside Memorial Park and Mortuary in Los Angeles, CA. A memorial service is also scheduled for today at the Hollywood Palladium.

Goldstein did not have a will and his mother was listed as the sole heir to his assets. Documents listed his annual income from property at $3.5 million. He also had another $400,000 worth of assets. He had $2.9 million worth of debts at the time of his death.

Actress Halle Berry Pregnant Again

The Oscar-winning actress Halle Berry is currently pregnant with her second child. The father is her model boyfriend named Gabriel Aubry. The couple had their first child, a daughter named Nahla, in 2007. With Berry's first pregnancy she used in vitro fertilization to get pregnant. This second time, she used artificial insemination to get pregnant.
