Natalie Cole, Grammy-winning singer and daughter of late Nat King Cole, has been hospitalized due to side effects of her medication and having a heavy promotional schedule for her new album “Still Unforgettable.” She has been in a New York City hospital since September 12th and is expected to stay there for a short time and then return to her home in Los Angeles where she will be on bedrest. She is reportedly responding well to the treatment.
She announced in July that she had hepatitis C, which is a liver disease that is spread through contact with infected blood. The disease was found during a routine examination and is likely due to her previous years of drug use.
