The singer Lily Allen has had a miscarriage. She first announced that she was pregnant last month. Her boyfriend is Ed Simons from the musical group The Chemical Brothers. Allen is expected to release her next album later this year.

Spicy Chili Causes Evacuation in London

In London, very spicy chili cooked at a London Thai restaurant caused roads to close and evacuations after people passing by complained of the smell burning their throats. A London Fire Brigade’s chemical response team was called after the smell hit London’s Soho district. Firefighters knocked down the door of the restaurant and took the chili that was being prepared as part of a batch of Nam Prik Pao, a spicy Thai dip.
