Actor Morgan Freeman Discharged from Hospital

The actor Morgan Freeman was discharged from a hospital in Tennessee on Thursday after being treated for a broken arm, broken elbow, and other injuries that he had gotten in a car accident in Mississippi last weekend. He and his wife of 24 years are also divorcing and the two have been separated since December, but no divorce papers have been filed yet.

Actor Morgan Freeman Injured In Car Accident

The actor Morgan Freeman was injured in a a serious car accident at about 11:30 pm on Sunday night in Mississippi. He was airlifted from the scene of the accident to a hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. Freeman's health condition is currently unknown but state troopers said that he was talking on the scene before being taken to the hospital.

Jamie Lynn Spears Gives Birth to Baby

It is reported that Jamie Lynn Spears, the younger sister of singer Britney Spears, gave birth to a baby girl on Thursday morning at a hospital in southern Mississippi. The baby is named Maddie Briann and was born weighing 7 pounds and 11 ounces.

Seventeen year old Jamie Lynn starred in the Nickelodeon show “Zoey 101.” This past December, it was announced that she was pregnant. The father is named Casey Aldridge and he is a pipe layer from Liberty, Mississippi. The couple lives near Liberty, Ms and is not married yet but had gotten engaged several months ago.

Mississippi Restaurants Banning Fat People

The Mississippi legislature is seriously considering a bill that would ban restaurants from serving food to very overweight people. The law would revoke the license of any restaurant that continues to serve the people. The state currently has a 30 percent obesity rate and they think that they could reduce that by not serving people that are very overweight.
