Police Arrest 11 Sex Offenders in Milwaukee During Halloween Trick or Teating

In Milwaukee, this past Sunday 11 sex offenders were arrested for violation parole and probation during trick-or-treat hours. Officers visited almost 100 homes to make sure that the most dangerous sex offenders weren't passing out candy to children.

At one of the guy's house they found candy and children toys, which is prohibited after his 2004 conviction of second-degree sexual assault of a child. Officers used a taser to arrest the man after he argued with the police. He could face possible charges of probation violation and resisting arrest.

Sex offenders are reminded of their restrictions before Halloween and sometimes they have to sign contracts and have random checks done.

Disney Will Test Its Toys for Lead

Earlier this summer Mattel recalled millions of Chinese-made, lead tainted toys and the Walt Disney Company is going to start testing its own toys for lead. They plan to do random tests of products that are already on the shelves and they want to make sure they do this before the Christmas season comes. The tests will begin within the next two weeks and they will test more than 65,000 products of toys, jewelry, furniture, and other Disney items.

The vinyl bibs which have illustrations of baseball bats, soccer balls, and Winnie the Pooh characters, are sold inexpensively for less than $5 under store brand labels. It is reported that testing found they had lead as high as three times as the level allowed in paint.
