Woman Attacks Comcast Company With Hammer

A 75 year old woman, named Mona Shaw, says that she and her husband had an appointment for a Comcast technician to come to their home and install the Triple Play phone, Internet, and cable service. The couple says that the technician showed up two days later than he was suppose to and didn’t finish setting up the services. Two days later, Comcast cut off their services.

The Shaws went to the Comcast office and waited two hours before being told that the manager was gone for the day. The next Monday, Mona Shaw showed up with a hammer and smashed a keyboard and telephone and knocked over a monitor. She was arrested for disorderly conduct, given a three month suspended sentence, fined $345, and is banned from going to the Comcast offices for a year. The Shaws decided to go with Verizon and DirecTV for their phone and television services.

Beheaded Snake Sends Man to Hospital

It is reported in Prosser, Washington that a man named Danny Anderson was feeding his horses when he found a 5-foot rattle snake on his property. He and his son, Benjamin, pinned the snake with an irrigation pipe and cut off its head with a shovel. When Danny bent down and picked up the head of the beheaded snake, it rose around and bit his finger. He had to shake his hand very hard to get it to let go.

By the time he arrived at Prosser Memorial Hospital, his tongue was swollen and the venom was already spreading. He was taken by ambulance to a Richland hospital to get the six shots he needed.

It is reported that the area where Anderson lives is near a prime snake habitat. Instead of picking up the snake head he should have buried it where it was.
