The singer Beyonce has officially announced at the MTV Video Music Awards that she is pregnant. She is supposedly due in March. Rumors have been circulating recently that she is pregnant but she has now confirmed them herself.

The singer Beyonce is reportedly pregnant with her first child. It is said that she currently about three months pregnant by her husband Rapper Jay Z. The couple have been together for several years and married in April of 2008. The baby is suppose to be due in April.

Beyonce and Jay Z File Marriage License

It is reported that a village clerk stated that a marriage license for Beyonce Knowles and Jay Z, which was dated April 4^th and signed by the person who officiated the wedding, is being filed by the state. The license was received by mail last Friday. The lavish wedding took place at Jay Z’s apartment on April 4^th and guests included Gwyneth Paltrow , Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams.

Jay-Z Close to Huge Business Deal

Jay-Z is close to a $150 million deal with Live Nation Inc. that will give the company a stake in almost every part of his career. The contract covers Jay-Z’s music and music related businesses for the next 10 years. Jay-Z would get a $25 million payment upfront and get advance payments of $10 million per album for at least three albums and he would get $25 million towards concert tours. Live Nation would also pay $20 million in exchange for publishing, licensing, and other rights.

The company is also expected to commit $50 million to finance Jay-Z’s investments and his entertainment venture, called Roc Nation, which is suppose to include Jay-Z’s own record label, music publishing, talent consulting, and managing projects. He plans to leave Def Jam if the deal goes through but he still owes Def Jam one more studio album. He was the president of Def Jam for three years but stepped down this past December because he and the label’s corporate parent, Universal Music Group, could not agree on a new contract.

Rapper Jay Z Leaving Def Jam Exec Job

The rapper Jay Z has announced that he will leave his position as president of the Def Jam Records label after his contract expires this year. He gained the position as president three years ago. He plans to still release music through his Roc-A-Fella/ Def Jam label after his contract expires on Dec 31^st.

Jay-Z Takes Over Sirius Radio’s Hip-Hop Channel

The rapper Jay-Z is taking over Sirius Satellite Radio’s hip-hop channel for a week. He will be the host of Jay-Z Nation starting Monday. Jay-Z Nation will have music from his albums and songs from his favorite hip-hop artists.
