Hulk Hogan's Son Released from Jail

Nick Bollea, the son of wrestler Hulk Hogan, has been released from a Florida jail on Tuesday morning after serving five months for causing a serious car crash. He had pleaded no contest in May to causing the crash. He was arrested last year after speeding on a a busy street and crashing his father's car, causing his passenger to become permanently disabled. He had the possibility to spend five years in prison, but the family of the injured passenger requested a lesser sentence.

Hulk Hogan’s Son Sentenced to Jail Time

The wrestler Hulk Hogan’s son, Nick Bollea, was sentenced to serve eight months in jail on Friday after he pleaded no contest to causing a car crash that seriously injured his friend. He was also ordered to serve five years of probation and surrender his driving privileges for three years. The family of the friend that was injured asked the judge to impose a sentence of up to a year in jail, which is less than the five years he could have received.

Nick Bollea was arrested last November and charged with felony reckless driving that caused a serious bodily injury after he was speed racing is father’s 1998 Toyota Supra and hit a curb. He then spun into traffic and hit a palm tree. His friend was in the car at that time and was seriously hurt. He wasn’t wearing a seat belt and suffered a broken skull and other severe injuries. Bollea was not seriously hurt, but he had alcohol in his system at the time of the accident. He was cited for being a driver under the age of 21, operating a vehicle with blood-alcohol level of 0.02 percent or higher, and having illegal window tinting. He will have to attend DUI classes and he can’t drink alcohol as terms of his probation.

Hulk Hogan Being Sued Over Son’s Car Accident

The wrestler Hulk Hogan, whose real name is Terry Bollea, is being sued by the man who was seriously injured in a car crash that involved Hogan’s son. John Graziano’s attorneys filed a lawsuit on Monday in Clearwater against Hogan. The lawsuit claims that Hogan and his wife are responsible as the parents of their son, Nick Bollea, who is currently facing a criminal charge of reckless driving involving serious bodily harm.

Graziano was a passenger in Nick’s Toyota Supra when he lost control of the car and crashed into a tree. Graziano wasn’t wearing a seat belt during the accident and was put in a semiconscious state afterwards. He states that he will require care for the rest of his life.

Hulk Hogan’s Wife Wants Property and Alimony in Divorce

Hulk Hogan’s wife, Linda Bollea, is seeking a share of the family’s two multimillion dollar Florida properties, alimony, and child support for their 17 year old son in her divorce petition. Linda filed for divorce last week after being married to the wrestler for 24 years. The petition states that the marriage is “irretrievably broken.”


The assets that have to be divided include a 17,000 square-foot mansion in Belleair and a 3,474 square-foot house on Clearwater Beach. The Belleair house is worth more than $7.2 million dollars and the Clearwater house is worth more than $2.2 million dollars. They also have a condominium that is under construction in Las Vegas.

Hulk Hogan’s Son Arrested

On Wednesday, Hulk Hogan’s son, Nick Bollea, turned himself in to authorities on charges that came from a street-racing crash that seriously injured a passenger in his car. He is being charged with reckless driving involving serious bodily injury. He is also being cited for using a motor vehicle in commission with a felony, being a driver under 21 years of age while operating a vehicle with a breath-alcohol level of 0.2 percent or higher, and having illegal window tinting. His blood-alcohol level was 0.055 when his blood was drawn two hours after the accident. He arrived at the Pinellas County Jail handcuffed with two police officers. He posted $10,000 bond and was seen leaving with his father and mother.

This summer, Nick was racing his father’s 1998 Toyota Supra against a Dodge Viper that was being driven by a friend. The car Nick was driving hit a curb and the car spun across two lanes of traffic and slammed rear-end first into a palm tree. His passenger, John Graziano, was not wearing a seat belt and was seriously injured. He suffered a broken skull and has been comatose at the Bayfront Medical Center.
