Green and Black Teas Could Prevent Skin Cancer

A study has shown that green and black teas could prevent skin cancer. Both of the teas have antioxidants that help to fight UV-induced damage. A survey done by epidemiologists from the Dartmouth Medical School surveyed 1,466 people with non melanoma skin cancer and 715 people in the same age group who didn’t have the disease about their tea drinking habits. The people who had been drinking tea the longest or drank at least two cups per day had the greatest protection against skin cancer.

Items to Be Sold From Luther Vandross Estate

Some items from the Luther Vandross Estate will go up for auction on December 5^th and 6^th. The singer died in 2005 at the age of 54. Items that are going up for auction include a Picasso charcoal drawing, mink coats, crystal vases, his handwritten lyrics to “Love Forgot,” his army green thermoses that he drank hot tea from during his concerts, designer loafers and boots, glasses, and doorknobs. The Items come from his previous homes in Beverley Hills, Greenwich, New York City, and his tours. The worth of all of the items auctioned is between $600,000 and $800,000.
