Hannah Montana Tickets Cause Lawsuit

Thousands of Hannah Montana fans who weren’t able to get concert tickets could possible join a lawsuit against Hannah Montana’s fan club that was suppose to give them priority for seats. The Miley Cyrus Fan Club said that joining would make it easier to get tickets from her website but many members weren’t able to get tickets through the site. The website says that it does not guarantee the availability of tickets, but members who log on very soon after tickets become available will have a good chance to get them. Fan club members pay $29.99 per year to the website.

The lawsuit is against Interactive Media Marketing Inc and Smiley Miley Inc. They are seeking triple damages for all of the members of the lawsuit and attorney’s fees.

Hannah Montana, whose real name is Miley Cyrus, is the daughter of country singer Billy Ray Cyrus and she is the star of Disney Channel’s “Hannah Montana.” Her “Best of Both Worlds” tour is supposedly the hottest concert of the year and shows sell out in as little as four minutes.
