Comedian Katt Williams Arrested for Burglary

On Sunday night, the comedian Katt Williams was arrested after being accused of breaking into a home and stealing $3,555 worth of jewelry and taking collectible coins. He was charged with burglary and criminal trespassing. On Monday night, he was released on a $41,150 bond. Williams claims that the burglary was a misunderstanding.

Charges Dropped Against Comedian Katt Williams

It is reported that the gun charges against the comedian Katt Williams have been dropped because prosecutors say that they "can't prove the charges beyond a reasonable doubt." Williams was arrested this past November after police pulled over a Cadillac Escalade SUV and a Dodge minibus that belonged to him and found a gun in each of the vehicles. Prosecutors found that the guns were legally registered in other states to two men who with with Williams.

Comedian Katt Williams Arrested

The comedian Katt Williams was arrested on weapons charges in midtown Manhattan after police pulled him over for driving without license plates. Police found a handgun in his car after he was stopped. He was released on bail Thursday and was able to make it for his show at Carnegie Hall.

Comedian and Actor Bernie Mac Dies

The well known comedian and actor Bernie Mac has died on Saturday at the age of 50 from complications due to pneumonia at a Chicago area hospital. He has suffered from sarccoidosis, which is an inflammatory lung disease that produces small lumps of cells in the body's organs, but the disease went into remission in 2005. He recently had to be hospitalized for pneumonia but it was not related to the sarcoidosis.

Comedian Bernie Mac Hospitalized With Pneumonia

The comedian Bernie Mac is currently in a hospital in Chicago with pneumonia. He is reportedly responding well to the treatment and should be released from the hospital soon. The pneumonia isn't related to the inflammatory lung disease that he has that has been in remission since 2005.

Comedian George Carlin Dies

The comedian George Carlin has died at the age of 71 of heart failure on Sunday. He has had a history of heart problems and was taken to St. John’s Medical Center in Santa Monica after complaining about having chest pains on Sunday afternoon. He died later that evening. He has done comedy shows for many years and has even done appearances in movies. He is famous for his “Seven Words You Can Never Say on TV” routine.

In his lifetime, he produced 23 comedy albums, 14 HBO specials, three books, and made appearances in several TV shows and movies. He hosted the first broadcast of “Saturday Night Live,” won four Grammy Awards for best spoken comedy album, and was nominated for five Emmy Awards.

Mike Epps Pulls a Gun on the Set of His New Movie

It is reported that the comedian and actor Mike Epps pulled a gun on one his co-stars on the set of his new movie. Epps and the co-star got into a shoving match when a scripted argument went a little too far. Epps then yelled that he was going to get his gun and went to his car to get his pistol. The actor Darius McCrary, who played Eddie Winslow on Family Matters, calmed down Epps before anything worse happened. The police were not called but the set of the movie was closed for a few days after that.
