The R&B singer Lyfe Jennings has been sentenced to three and a half years in prison due to a fight with his ex-girlfriend that happened in 2008. During the 2008 incident, he had a confrontation with his ex-girlfriend Joy Pound and kicked the door of a house belonging to Jeff kendrick. He then fired rounds from a gun in the street before leaving the scene in his 2005 Corvette. He was charged for criminal trespassing, discharging a weapon near a street, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer.

5 Year Old Boy Kills 445 Pound Bear

In Arkansas, a 5 year old boy named Tre Merritt was out with his grandfather when a black bear came out from a thicket on the side of the road. The boy shot and killed the bear with his youth rifle. The grandfather says that the boy’s 10^th great-grandfather was Davy Crockett. The grandfather says that he taught his grandson how to shoot when he was 2 years old and says that the boy has already killed three deer. The family of the boy plans to get a life-sized mount of the bear.

Woman Gives Birth to 15.2 Pound Baby

In Indonesia, a woman gave birth to a 15.2 pound baby boy on Monday. The mother has gestational diabetes, which could cause heavier than normal babies. The baby was delivered by C-section and transferred to another hospital for respiratory problems.

The average weight of a newly born baby is about 7 pounds and the Guinness Book of World Records records the largest baby ever born was 23.12 pounds. It was born in 1879 in the United States and died 11 hours after it was born.

Mans Wins Contest With 1524 Pound Pumpkin

In Half Moon Bay, CA a man named Thad Starr had the winning pumpkin at the Half Moon Bay pumpkin festival weigh-off. His pumpkin weighed 1,524 pounds and set the record for the largest pumpkin they ever had at the contest. He won six dollars for each pound of the pumpkin and received $9,144. A Woman Finds A Black Window Spider in her Grapes

An article that says that a woman named Judy Reardon in Andover, Minn bought a four pound box of grapes from Costco and as she washed off the grapes and placed them in plastic bags she noticed the spider.

She and her husband took the spider to University of Minnesota's insect museum and they confirmed that it was a black widow spider based on the red markings on its abdomen. Judy contacted the supplier of the grapes in California and was told that this usually happens once a year with their grapes. Judy returned the grapes to Costco with no interest in suing them. She warns that everyone should check, look over their grapes carefully, and wash them as soon as they bring them home.

The black widow got its name because the females eat the males right after they mate. A black widow bite can cause people severe pain, cramping, and illness, but deaths are rare.
