Rapper Lil Wayne Goes to Jail Soon

The rapper Lil Wayne was suppose to officially start his sentence of serving one year in jail. That has been temporarily delayed because the rapper has to go to the dentist on February 12th to have oral surgery. Lil Wayne is set to start serving jail time on March 2nd.

5 Year Old Boy Kills 445 Pound Bear

In Arkansas, a 5 year old boy named Tre Merritt was out with his grandfather when a black bear came out from a thicket on the side of the road. The boy shot and killed the bear with his youth rifle. The grandfather says that the boy’s 10^th great-grandfather was Davy Crockett. The grandfather says that he taught his grandson how to shoot when he was 2 years old and says that the boy has already killed three deer. The family of the boy plans to get a life-sized mount of the bear.

Almanac Predicts 2008 to Reach Record Temperatures

The Old Farmer’s Almanac predicts for 2008 to be the warmest year in a century. It is believed that years that end in “8” will have unusual weather. They predict a warmer than average winter and below average snowfall. They also predict a hot summer but cool and dry in the upper Midwest. The also expect more rainfall than usual. They say they have a secret formula based on sunspots and meteorology to make these predictions.
