Rapper Snoop Dogg Testifies in Court

The rapper Snoop Dogg testified in court on Monday stating that he didn't hit a man named Richard Monroe Jr. who is claiming that he hit him with a brass-knuckle microphone during one of Snoop's concerts in 2005. Snoop stated that he immediately went back to his tour bus after Monroe jumped on stage and was tackled by security.

Monroe claims that he was seriously injured after Snoop, his entourage, and security hit him and poured alcohol on him during a performance of the song "Gin and Juice." He also said that he woke up backstage naked in a pool of blood after the incident. Snoop's attorney's say that Monroe was wrong to go on stage and security was just reacting because they thought that Snoop was being attacked when he went on stage. Monroe is suing for $22 million.

Rapper Kanye West Not Charged in Airport Incident

Prosecutors have decided not to file felony charges against the rapper Kanye West and his manager for an incident in which the camera of a paparazzi was broken. Prosecutors referred the case to the city attorneys and they will decide if West will be charged with a misdemeanor.

West was arrested on September 11th at Los Angeles International Airport on suspicion of vandalism after he was caught on video struggling with a paparazzi and then breaking his camera on the floor. His manager was also arrested on suspicion of breaking the camera and one that belonged to a TMZ videographer.

Singer Kelis Acquitted of Charges

Kelis, a singer and wife of rapper Nas, has been acquitted of all charges against her in an incident that happened in Miami where she was accused of disrupting a police operation by going towards the officers screaming racial profanities at them. The incident started when authorities were talking to men in March of 2007 in the South Beach nightclub district and they claim that Kelis rushed towards them and said that one of the men was her husband. She was charged with disorderly conduct while resisting arrest without violence. A jury acquitted her of the charges on Thursday.

Model Naomi Campbell Charged In London Airport Assault

The model Naomi Campbell has been charged with assaulting two police officers during an incident that happened at Heathrow Airport on April 3rd. She was charged when she reported to Heathrow police station to answer bail. She faces three counts of assaulting a constable, two counts of using threatening abusive words or behavior towards the cabin crew, and one count of disorderly conduct. The assault was against two officers. She has been ordered to appear at a west London magistrates’ court on June 20^th and she could possibly receive six months in prison and/or a fine of up to $10,000.

On April 3^rd, Campbell was on a British Airways plane ready to go to Los Angeles when she got into a dispute over her luggage. She was removed from the plane and held for eight hours at the airport police station before she was released on bail.

50 Cent Throws a Tantrum

It is reported that yesterday 50 Cent had a violent incident inside of his G-Unit offices. He was angry that the video for his new song with Robin Thicke, Follow My Lead, was leaked to the internet. He was complaining about the leak to execs at Interscope Records when he flipped out. He tore the plasma television off the wall, screamed at the Interscope execs, and threw a phone through the Manhattan Office's plate glass window.
