Rapper Fat Joe Accused of Sexual Assault

The rapper Fat Joe was detained by police in Madison, Wisconsin after a woman told the cops that the rapper and his entourage sexually assaulted her inside of a Cadillac limo after Fat Joe performed at a concert at the Orpheum Theater on Sunday night. Fat Joe was detained for questioning but was not arrested. He was released this morning.

Actor Charlie Sheen to Serve Jail Time

Next Monday, the actor Charlie Sheen is set to go to Aspen and plead no contest to 3rd degree assault. He will then begin his sentence of 30 days in jail. He had the choice of serving jail time or getting probation. With good time credit his jail sentence could be shortened to 17 days. After jail, he will not have to be on probation.

Actor Gary Coleman Dies

On Friday, the popular actor Gary Coleman died at the age of 42 due to a brain hemorrhage. He had been hospitalized on Wednesday and placed on life support. He went into a coma and never regained consciousness. His wife decided to discontinue life support and he died peacefully soon after 12:00 p.m. on Friday. As a child he played on the show "Diff’rent Strokes" and also made many guest appearances on other shows.

Lindsay Lohan to Wear Alcohol Monitoring Bracelet

On Monday, the actress Lindsay Lohan was ordered by a judge in court to wear an alcohol-monitoring bracelet. The bracelet receives a signal through the skin if she has been drinking and then sends the signal to the company that monitors it. Lohan also received strict restrictions on her probation that may affect her recent career plans. She has a probation hearing set for July 6th due to her not appearing in court last week for a scheduled progress report on the probation that involved two high-profile arrests.

Lindsay Lohan Not to Be Arrested

It has been reported that the actress Lindsay Lohan will not be arrested because she has posted bail and the arrest warrant has been recalled. Earlier, a judge set her bail at $100,000 but her people paid the standard ten percent to secure the bond. The judge then recalled the warrant and Lohan will not be arrested when she returns to the United States. She and her lawyer are expected to be in court on Monday and the judge will then set a date for the probation violation hearing.

Tyra Banks Writing Fantasy Novels

The TV show Host and former model Tyra Banks has signed a deal for a series of fantasy novels about modeling. Her first book is called "Modelland" and it is about a teen-aged girl in a make-believe society at an academy for exceptional models called Intoxibellas. The book will be published in the summer of 2011 and will cover issues from relationships to body images. The book is meant to empower women of all ages. Banks is set to end "The Tyra Banks Show" later this year after five seasons to launch her own production company called Bankable Studios.

Actress Lindsay Lohan Headed for Jail

The actress Lindsay Lohan recently violated the terms of her probation, which will very possibly will mean that she will have to serve jail time after she goes to court next month on May 20th. She is on probation for DUI and has not finished the alcohol education requirement that the judge ordered for her. The judge told her that if she did not comply with the terms of probation that she would go to jail.

Beyonce's Father Confirmed as Father of New Baby

A DNA test has confirmed that the father of singer Beyonce, named Mathew Knowles, fathered a child with another woman outside of his marriage to Tina Knowles. The mother of the baby boy, named Alexsandra Wright, says that she had an 18-month affair with Knowles. She filed a paternity suit this past October against Knowles and it was ordered that she temporarily receive $8,200 per month in child support. It has been reported that Beyonce, her cousin Angie, sister Solange, Kelly Rowland, and some of Beyonce's other cousins are going to fly out to Los Angeles today to meet the baby boy.

NBA Star Shaquille O'Neal and Wife Reach Divorce Settlement

The NBA star Shaquille O'Neal and his wife have reached a settlement for their divorce, which includes their property, custody, and support. The Florida courts will have jurisdiction to officially divorce the couple and the Florida judge will handle any of the issues that would involve the division of the property and spousal support. The California courts will have jurisdiction over any child custody issues.

Rapper Lil Wayne Begins Jail Sentence

The rapper Lil Wayne has officially began his one year jail sentence due to having a loaded gun on his tour bus in July of 2007. He has already arrived at the Rikers Island jail complex, where he is being kept apart from the general population due to him being a celebrity. He has a cell to himself and has the option of spending time in a TV room with 17 other inmates who have been separated from the general population due to other reasons. Lil Wayne could possibly be released from jail in eight months with good behavior.

Singer D'Angelo Arrested

The R&B singer D'Angelo, whose real name is Michael Archer, was arrested on Saturday while behind the wheel of his Range Rover after he was caught trying to pay $40 for sex from an undercover cop posing as a prostitute in New York City. He pleaded not guilty in court and plans to fight the charge.

The rapper Lil Wayne was supposed to begin serving his one-year jail term but it has been postponed due to a basement fire at a Lower Manhattan courthouse. In October, he pleaded guilty to attempted criminal possession of a weapon after police found a loaded gun on his tour bus in July of 2007.

This past weekend the singer Christina Milian gave birth to a healthy baby girl named Violet. She is currently married to the singer The Dream. The couple married this past September in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Rapper Juvenile Arrested

On Thursday, the rapper Juvenile, whose real name is Terius Gray, and his music producer, named Leroy Edwards, were arrested for misdemeanor possession of marijuana after neighbors told the police that they smelled pot coming from a house being used as a recording studio in Louisiana. Gray was booked at a jail in St. Bernard Parish southeast of New Orleans. He and his music producer were released later that night on bond.

Singer Beyonce Has New Baby Brother

A woman named Alexsandra Wright who is claiming that Beyonce's father, Mathew Knowles, is the father of her baby just gave birth to a baby boy last Thursday named Nixon. Wright says that she and Mathew picked out the name together while watching "Frost/Nixon." Wright has not received any money from Knowles for the support of the child yet but she has a court date set next week seeking support.

Rapper Lil Wayne Goes to Jail Soon

The rapper Lil Wayne was suppose to officially start his sentence of serving one year in jail. That has been temporarily delayed because the rapper has to go to the dentist on February 12th to have oral surgery. Lil Wayne is set to start serving jail time on March 2nd.
